Promoting sound public-private partnerships

Promoting sound public-private partnerships

Public-private partnerships (PPPs) can provide significant benefits but also present a set of challenges for the public sector. The European PPP Expertise Centre (EPEC) helps the public sector to deliver sound PPPs. Through its activities, EPEC:

  • shares and promotes good PPP practice,
  • assists PPP policy development, and
  • supports the preparation of pathfinder PPPs.

EPEC is a membership-based network of PPP units and public policy-makers. It is managed by an international team of dedicated PPP experts. EPEC is an initiative of the EIB, involving the European Commission and many European countries.
