Péter Oszkó, new governor for Hungary

Dr Péter Oszkó has been appointed Minister of Finance of Hungary, succeeding Mr Janos Veres, and thus also becomes EIB Governor for Hungary.

Born on 22 March 1973, Dr Péter Oszkó graduated as a lawyer and completed further specialised courses in the area of finance.

Before becoming Minister of Finance, Dr Péter Oszkó worked in the advisory industry, specifically in tax advisory. In 2004 he joined Deloitte Hungary and became their Chairman and CEO in June 2007.
