The European Commission has notified the EIB that it will request the Slovakian authorities for further information regarding the D1 Phase I motorway PPP project.

In line with the Bank’s normal procedures and requirements, EIB financing for this project will proceed based on the outcome of this process and subject to the Commission’s final confirmation of the project’s full compliance with EU legislation.
