As part of its ongoing dialogue with civil society, the European Investment Bank will hold its Autumn 2006 Workshop for CSOs in Berlin on Thursday the 26th of October.

EIB-CSO Workhops bring together CSO delegates, specialized EIB staff, and Members of the Bank's Board of Directors and Management Committee to discuss topics of common interest. Observers from other EU and international financing institutions also participate. The Berlin Workshop will be chaired by EIB Vice-President Simon Brooks.

The Workshop's working languages will be English and German. Interpretation facilities will be available during the plenary programme.

The agenda has been set jointly by the Bank and CSOs. Topics on the agenda include:

• Environment - Climate Change - Energy (with a focus on energy efficiency and/or renewable energy)
• Corporate Responsibility
