Werner Hoyer, President of the EIB participated in the first Africa Business Week organized on 21-25 May in Frankfurt and Bonn by the Maleki Group in cooperation with the Afrika-Verein der deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. (German-African Business Association).

The Africa Business Week is under the patronage of Dirk Niebel, Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, and Volker Bouffier, Minister President of the State of Hessen.

The EIB was one of the event is sponsoring the event with a number of key experts participating in panel discussions throughout the week.
