The EIB agreed in 2020 to support a EUR 470 million nationwide programme to reduce death and injury caused by traffic accidents across Greece. The Epirus region is one of those that will benefit from improvements to road safety carried out by our partner Egnatia Odos S.A. at 7,000 locations.
