Capenergie 3 is a European renewable energy infrastructure fund targeting greenfield and brownfield assets with the objective of building a diversified, yield-oriented portfolio of 500-750 MW. Its investment strategy is based on establishing long-term partnerships with European independent power producers in order to jointly invest in high-quality assets using mature technologies such as wind, solar and hydro in electricity production as well as biomass and geothermal-based district heating networks.
Omnes Capital is a Paris-based asset management company with EUR 2.1b in assets under management in Buyout & Growth Capital, Private Debt, Venture Capital, Co-Investment and Renewable Energy. Omnes Capital was a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole S.A. until March 2012 and is now fully independent.
The company was one of the first European investors to focus on renewable energy, having started its activity in 2006 with the launch of the Capenergie funds. Since then, Omnes Capital’s renewables team has raised over EUR 700m in funds across a number of investment funds and dedicated mandates and has invested in over 1.5 GW in renewable energy generation capacity across Europe.
