Czech Republic to advance high-speed train travel with EIB advisory support

The European Investment Bank (EIB) will advise the Czech Republic’s national railway infrastructure manager, Správa železnic, on preparation and procurement of three major railway infrastructure projects as public-private partnerships (PPPs). These projects are priority domestic rail investments part of wider international corridors linking Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria and Slovakia.

EIB supports €100 million initiative to improve Cyprus’s road network

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is funding Cyprus a further €100 million for a range of road improvements in the country. The EIB credit will cover 50% of the costs of planned renovations and extensions to make road travel in Cyprus easier and safer.

CESEE Bank Lending Survey: positive trends in credit demand and supply are pushing banks to expand in the region

The Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe (CESEE) Bank Lending Survey is conducted twice per year by the European Investment Bank (EIB), covering around 15 international banking groups and 85 local subsidiaries or independent local banks. Together, they make up more than 50% of banking assets in most CESEE countries.
