  • 1999-2008: Head of Division (initially Head of Unit) : Financial Applications
    • Operation and maintenance of core financial applications, covering Treasury, Borrowing & Lending
    • From 2001 Head of the financial applications renewal for the ISIS Project
  • 1993-1999: Head of IT Security, Project Leader on Y2K compliance
  • 1991-1993: System Architect: implementation of client-server technologies, network and database systems. Initially as consultant, then as staff member from 1992
  • 1989-1991: Development Team Leader, Consulting Services, London
    • Led development of a mobile telephone billing system at British Telecom
    • Integrated inventory and e-mail systems at a semiconductor company (Swindon)
  • 1988-1989: Caltex Oil, Cape Town, SA

    • Expert System using early AI technologies for Credit Risk
