Tripartite Agreement

The agreement (entitled Tripartite Agreement) mentioned in Article 248 (3) of the EC Treaty governs cooperation between the Bank, the Commission and the Court of Auditors with respect to the modes for controls exercised by the Court.

It should be noted that only the signed version of the Tripartite Agreement is deemed authentic, the English translation of the text having been prepared by the Bank for its own internal purposes.

The French version is the signed version.

The Agreement was signed on 27 October 2003 and was valid for four years. In July 2007, the Bank, the Commission and the Court of Auditors agreed that the Agreement would be renewed for a further four years.
