FEMIP financing operations in Gaza/West Bank

FEMIP is the key player in the economic and financial partnership between Europe and the Mediterranean, providing almost EUR 6 billion of financing between October 2002 and December 2006.

In terms of sector allocation, EIB operations largely reflect the Bank’s traditional areas of activity in the region and are spreadamongst the key sectors of energy, the environment, transport and support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).The Bank has also provided backing to the private sector in the form of private equity.
