    Description
    Objectives

    The Small and Medium-sized Enterprise-focused Regional Facility (SMERF) is a regional credit facility for financial intermediaries to on-lend primarily to Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) projects in the southern African and Indian Ocean regions (excluding South Africa).

    The project will help finance projects carried out by small and medium-sized enterprises and other final beneficiaries.
