Description
Dedicated EIB loan for the financing, via leasing schemes, of small and medium-sized projects in Turkey promoted by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-caps in eligible sectors
Objectives
Improving access to term finance, the operation will support Turkey's strategy for enhancing economic growth and employment through the financing, via leasing schemes, of small and medium-scale investments in eligible sectors. Projects will be carried out by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-caps in line with the conditions of the EIB Loan for SMEs and Mid-Caps in candidate and potential candidate countries.

Environmental aspects
Final beneficiaries will be requested to comply with applicable national environmental law and the applicable principles of EU legislation, as appropriate.
Procurement
The intermediary will be required to ensure that procurement procedures carried out by the final beneficiaries for the sub-projects that the Bank finances are in accordance with the EIB Guide to Procurement and national procurement legislation.
