    Guarantees for financing small and medium-sized investment promoted by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)

    The SME Initiative in Romania, a joint initiative of the EIB Group and the European Commission, is expected to make a significant contribution to sustainable growth and employment through the facilitation of credit at attractive terms. It aims to enhance the Bank's support for the economic development of SMEs in Romania. The initiative involves collaboration between the European Commission, the EIB Group and the Romanian national authority responsible for the coordination of structural funds.
