The wind farms will be equipped with a multi-megawatt turbine type with three blades providing a rotor diameter of 90 m mounted on a tubular steel tower of 80 m height. The project includes civil works, such as the construction of concrete foundation pads for each tower, upgrading of existing access roads and installation of a wind farm control building including spare parts storage. Grid connection will require a new transformer and will follow existing cable routes to existing substations, which will be upgraded accordingly.
