POLAND NEW MANUFACTURE PLANT AND RDI
- Reference: 20120246
- Release date: 13 July 2012
The project concerns: (i) the construction and the ramp-up of a manufacturing plant for the production of combustion engine and propulsion systems components, (ii) the creation of a local R&D centre and (iii) R&D activities aimed at developing mechanical components and electronic components for motor control and automation system.
The project will be located in a convergence area stricto sensu with high unemployment rate and is expected to create about 220 permanent jobs in manufacturing and R&D together. The project, if successful, will support the promoters strategy to develop and manufacture new and better performing components for engines (static generators and off-highway applications) with limited emission levels, reduced fuel consumption and higher reliability. The project is also expected to benefit from close cooperation with local technical universities, thus enhancing the knowledge exchange in the area.
