Description

The project consists in the construction of five new private primary schools in Andalucia, a new R&D building, several R&D projects in the field of health care and medical imaging and the implementation of the Magnetic Resonance guided Focus Ultrasound Surgery technology (MRgFUS) in private hospitals in Spain.

Objectives

The projects objective is to promote research and technological development in education and health improving the quality of life of EU citizens.

Environmental aspects

As the project concerns a large number of relatively small investments in ICT based infrastructure and software in existing facilities it is unlikely that any EIAs will be required. As the purpose of the activities being funded is to improve the quality of life the social impact of the project should be positive.

Procurement

The promoter is a private company not operating in the Utilities sector, and is thus not covered by EU Directives on procurement.
