The proposed investment is for the construction, commissioning and operation of a factory to produce a hazelnut and chocolate spread, and chilled deserts and snacks. The project is to be located on the “Manisa Organised Industrial Zone”, close to Izmir, Turkey.
Objectives
The plant will produce hazelnut and chocolate spread, chilled deserts and snacks, which are popular within the country. Moreover, since this first plant of the promoter in Turkey will substitute the imports of the mentioned products, the project will generate additional employment in the country. The EIB's financing of the project should therefore be in line with the objectives of the EIB's mandate for Turkey aiming to support the country's economic development and Turkey’s integration into the EU economy.
