Description
Line of credit in favour of the Republic of Seychelles to finance loans to small and medium sized enterprises in Seychelles, through the intermediary Development Bank of Seychelles (DBS).
Objectives
The line of credit is to support the availability of term finance to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the productive and service sectors in the Seychelles.

Environmental aspects
DBS shall ensure that projects financed are implemented in conformity with the environmental laws of Seychelles.
Procurement
DBS shall take all the requisite measures to ensure that the procurement of works, goods and services relating to the subprojects which the EIB finances is the most economically-advantageous option, following appropriate procedures in the light of the circumstances and taking account of quality and efficiency.
