Construction d'une autoroute entre El Jadida et Safi (142 km). Ce projet a été identifié comme un maillon important du réseau autoroutier marocain car il permet : (i) de relier la région de Doukkalah-Abda aux autres régions limitrophes via une infrastructure moderne, (ii) de relier via le littoral deux métropoles aux poids économiques (activités agricoles et halieutiques en particulier) et démographiques importants : El Jadida et Safi et (iii) le désenclavement de zones moins favorisées. Objectifs
Le projet a pour objectif la construction d’une autoroute entre El Jadida et Safi (142 km). Ce projet répond aux objectifs qui lui sont fixés, qui prévoient notamment l’amélioration des infrastructures prioritaires et l’accroissement de la qualité de vie de la population (notamment en intégrant un volet sécurité routière).

Aspects environnementaux
Si le projet était localisé au sein de l’UE, il tomberait sous l’annexe 1 de la Directive européenne relative aux études d’impact environnemental (85/337/EEC).
Des études environnementales ont été réalisées, un processus de consultation des communautés affectées par le projet est en cours.
Passation des marchés
Le promoteur, suite à la réalisation des projets précédents, connaît bien les procédures de la Banque en matière de passation de marchés et applique des appels d'offres ouverts à la participation internationale.
