Financing of two windfarms in the Chongqing province for a total installed capacity of 99MW.
Objectives
The project supports EU and EIB policy objectives with regard to combating climate change and promoting renewable energy generation. The operation contributes to environmental sustainability.
If located in the EU, the project would not have required an Environmental Impact Assessment. Nevertheless, and according to the local requirements, an EIA, including public consultation, has been carried out. The project is not expected to have any significant negative environmental or social impacts
Procurement
Procurement will be undertaken in accordance with the Bank's Procurement Guidelines.
