The project includes the following components. (1) Programme of facilities converting organic waste and agricultural byproducts into energy, (2) construction of a new flour mill, (3) construction of a new slaughterhouse.
Objectives
The proposed initial programme is the construction, commissioning and operation of two agro-industrial food processing facilities and one or more biogas plant(s)
- One flour mill, to replace the company’s three existing mills, while increasing capacity from the 105 000 tonnes to 180 000 tonnes.
- One slaughterhouse to replace existing non-compliant slaughtering facilities. This will be dedicated to pigs and bring the company into compliance with all relevant EU Directives.
- One or more biogas plant(s).
