    Description
    Objectives

Restoration and extension of a dilapidated, disused, city centre hotel to create an international standard 5 star hotel under a leading brand with 175 rooms, restaurants, wellness centre, underground parking, etc in an historic, landmark building.

The proposed hotel should become one of the leading hotels in the Adriatic, primarily drawing on high-value leisure clients, but also conferences, exhibitions and other business events. The soundness of the business concept and market projections will be analysed at appraisal.

    Environmental aspects
    Procurement

Compliance with EU Directive 97/11/EC, amending 85/337/EEC, will be verified during appraisal and the status of any environmental studies and public consultations will be reviewed.

This is a private sector project, to which EU procurement Directives do not apply. The Promoter is following current industry practices based mainly on competitive consultations among potential suppliers of goods and services. The procedures employed will be confirmed at appraisal.
