EU Funds co-financing 2007-2013 (LT)

Co-financing of priority investments in the Republic of Lithuania under the 2007-2013 National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) and selected Cohesion Fund (CF) Projects under implementation from 2004-2006 programming period, to be completed by 2010.

Objectives

The project will assist Lithuania in achieving further convergence in the levels of economic and social development with the rest of the EU.

Environmental aspects

The project will have a number of effects on the environment, including reduction of pollution, environmental protection, etc. The Bank will require from the promoter to act according to the provisions of the relevant EU directives, including SEA, EIA, Habitats and Birds Directives.

Procurement

The promoter is required to follow the EU public procurement rules including publication of contract notices in the EU Official Journal, if and where appropriate. Projects with values below the EU thresholds will be procured according to national legislation.
