Dedicated global loan financing small-scale eligible investments in the fields of i2i, environment and health.
The proposed global loan intends to lower the funding cost for small-scale projects through the cooperation with HELABA, a well-established partner bank on a regional and national level. HELABA has identified a multitude of eligible investment projects of common interest, supporting i2i, environment and health. The operation would therefore promote EU objectives for such projects, which cannot otherwise be reached by EIB.

Environmental aspectsCompliance with EU and national environmental legislation and guidelines will be made a condition for each sub-project under the global loan.
