EIB announces EUR 70bn Funding Program for 2013
EIB has issued new projections for its funding activities, as part of the annual revision of its Corporate Operational Plan (COP). The Bank plans to borrow EUR 70bn in 2013. This is similar to the amount of EUR 71bn ultimately raised in 2012, which included some prefunding for 2013. The issuance of a new plan for 2013 follows approval by the Board of Directors on 18 December 2012 of the new COP for 2013-2015. The EUR 70bn funding program is in the context of plans for increased lending activity, predicated on a capital increase of EUR 10bn to be fully paid-in.

EIB announces Funding Program for 2012
Expects to raise EUR 60bn in 2012 – approved by Board
EIB has made new projections for its funding activities, as part of the annual revision of its Corporate Operational Plan (COP). The Bank plans to borrow EUR 60bn in 2012. This programme was approved by the Board of Directors on 13 December 2011, as part of the new COP for 2012-2014. The volume planned for 2012 compares with an amount of EUR 75bn raised under the 2011 programme. The reduced borrowing foreseen for 2012 reflects the trend towards reduced lending, as well as reduced bond redemptions. Reduced lending is in line with plans

Ceiling of EUR 75bn authorised by Board
EIB has made projections for its funding activities in 2011, as part of its Corporate Operational Plan (COP) for the years 2011-2013.
The Bank plans to borrow EUR 70-75bn in 2011, subject to a ceiling of EUR 75bn. This ceiling was approved by the Board of Directors as part of the new COP for 2011-2013.
The amount raised in 2010 as of mid-December is EUR 67bn. Funding raised in 2009 amounted to EUR 79.4bn.

The present evaluation has assessed Greek projects financed by the Bank that were completed over the period corresponding to the first two Community Support Frameworks (CSF), i.e. 1989-2000.
