The EIB in Poland in 2012

In Poland, as in the other EU Member States, the European Investment Bank (EIB) supports investment projects designed to reduce disparities in regional development, strengthen economic competitiveness and improve citizens’ living standards. In 2012, EIB financing in Poland amounted to EUR 4.4 billion. Poland is the fourth biggest recipient of EIB loans, and the first among the Member States that joined the EU in 2004 and 2007.
