The EIB in Denmark in 2008-2012
In 2008-2012 the European Investment Bank (EIB) provided loans in Denmark totalling EUR 1.56 billion. The focus of its lending was on projects promoting research, development and innovation (RDI) in the industrial sector but also in the area of energy security of supply. Danish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) also benefited from significant EIB support over the last five years.
