The EIB in Croatia in 2011
The European Investment Bank’s lending operations in Croatia support projects helping the country to meet the EU accession criteria and harmonise with economic developments in the EU in order to integrate rapidly into the Union. In 2011 the EIB signed financing contracts in Croatia amounting to EUR 305 million, bringing the total lending provided in the country to some EUR 2.7 billion since 2001.
