The EIB in Austria in 2012

In 2012 the EIB provided loans totalling EUR 1.05 billion in Austria, targeting in particular transport and industrial research, development and innovation projects. It maintained its high level of commitment in the energy – especially renewable energy – sector and directed a substantial part of its financing towards small and medium-sized businesses.
