The Development of Risk Capital Operations : Orientations

The Presidency Conclusions of the Lisbon European Council have singled out among the measures " preparing the transition to a competitive, dynamic and knowledge-based economy" , the creation  of a "friendly  environment for starting up and developing innovative businesses, especially  SME's".  It has confirmed the priority  given to EIB and  EIF to continue and diversify  operations in various  fields of risk capital.
