The Environmental Report 2004 describes the environmental lending of the Bank in 2004, targeted at fulfilling one or a number of the environmental objectives of the European Union.
Individual environmental loans amounted to EUR 11.1 billion, of which EUR 10.4 billion was in the EU-25.
The Environmental Report refers to new policy initiatives, changes in internal practices as well as relationships with various external parties.
