Förvaltningskodexen innehåller de allmänna principerna för god förvaltningssed som skall gälla för alla kontakter som bankens personal har med allmänheten, såvida de inte omfattas av särskilda föreskrifter, i synnerhet reglerna för tillgång till dokument.
Denna förvaltningskodex träder i kraft efter offentliggörande i Europeiska gemenskapernas officiella tidning (C17 - 19.01.2001).
