The amount of financing made available to the Regions by Cassa depositi e prestiti for the rehabilitation, renewal, upgrading to comply with safety standards and construction of school buildings has been increased to EUR 905 million.
These funds are the result of an agreement between CDP and the EIB, which have signed two finance contracts, the latter of which today for an amount of EUR 455 million, supplementing an initial tranche of EUR 450 million signed in July 2015.
CDP will therefore be able to grant 30-year loans to the Regions on particularly favourable terms, with repayment costs to be covered by the State.
