Métropole Rouen Normandie has taken out a €50 million loan with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to fund its public transport network, with the goal of providing users with more efficient, affordable and environmentally friendly mobility services.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the French department of Seine-Maritime have signed a 25-year, €150 million finance contract aiming to modernise the working and learning environments of 13 000 pupils across the region — 25% of the total registered in the department’s public lower secondary schools (collèges) — together with their teachers and other staff.
The EIB is granting a €45 million loan to French engineering school CentraleSupélec to renovate the historic Supélec building in the last stage of its Paris-Saclay campus programme.
