In January 2018, Ms Teresa CZERWIŃSKA was appointed as Minister of Finance.
She also became EIB Governor for the Republic of Poland, succeeding Mr Mateusz MORAWIECKI.
From December 2015 to June 2017, Ms CZERWIŃSKA held the position of Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
In addition, since 2014, Ms CZERWIŃSKA also served as an expert in various national and international bodies such as the Advisory Scientific Committee at the Financial Ombudsman and the Insurance and Reinsurance stakeholder Group at the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority in Frankfurt.
Since 2011, Ms CZERWIŃSKA is a Professor at the University of Warsaw in the field of finance, and is also serving as Secretary of the Committee of Financial Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the 2015-2018 term of office.
Earlier in her career, Ms CZERWIŃSKA worked for the Office of Insurance and Pension Fund Supervision Committee and was appointed in supervisory bodies of financial institutions and as a court expert.
Ms CZERWIŃSKA graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences and from the Faculty of Management of the University of Gdańsk.
