In December 2017, Ms Alena SCHILLEROVÁ was appointed as Minister of Finance. She was subsequently appointed as EIB Governor for the Czech Republic in March 2018, succeeding Mr Ivan PILNÝ.
From January 2016 to December 2017, Ms SCHILLEROVÁ was serving as Deputy Minister of Finance for Tax and Customs.
Previously, Ms SCHILLEROVÁ was a Manager of the Legal and Tax Process Department in the General Directorate of Finance between July 2014 and December 2015.
From January 2013 to June 2014, Ms SCHILLEROVÁ was working as Deputy Manager and Head of the Methodology and Tax Enforcement Department in the Financial Office for the South Moravian Region.
Ms SCHILLEROVÁ also held various positions in the Brno-Country Financial Office such as Manager (September 2006 - December 2012), Deputy Manager (January 1995 - July 2006), Head of the Legal and Distrainment Department (June 1994 - December 1994) and Lawyer (August 1991 - May 1994).
Ms SCHILLEROVÁ holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Law from the Masaryk University of Brno.
