What is required to close the productivity and investment gap in Europe? Where will efforts need to be stepped up? How can investment best boost innovation and productivity? How are (EU) financial instruments performing and what is their value added compared to national instruments? What has changed with the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI)?
These are just some of the questions that a line-up of experts and decision makers, including Commissioner Jyrki Katainen and EIB President Werner Hoyer, will discuss during this workshop. The focus of the debate will be on the key steps forward to close the investment gaps, to mobilise particularly private investment and hence ultimately to boost growth, innovation and productivity.
