  • From October 2000: Director, Macroeconomic (The UK and world economy-macroeconomic analysis, UK and world forecasts, fiscal policy, fiscal and monetary policy frameworks)
  • 1998 - 2000: Head of EU Finance (The UK's financial relationship with the EU; Agenda 2000 negotiations)
  • 1994 - 1998:
    • Head of Regional and Country Analysis (Overseas economies and their impacts on the UK)
    • World Economic Issues (International economic issues such as globalisation, implications of ageing (G10), saving and investment (G10), capital liberalisation; work towards strengthening international financial system, orderly workouts, minimising moral hazard, etc; G7/G8 meetings)
