  • From September 2006: Deputy Director General for European Financial Institutions.
    • Spain's relations and policies with the European Financial Institutions (EIB, EBRD and CEB);
    • Formulation of Spain's position in relation to EU financial policies within the EU and with partner countries;
    • In charge of defining Spanish position on the new financial instruments for development in relation to the EU Cooperation Policy
    • Representation of the Ministry of Economy and Finance in EU Council working groups: CODEV, ACP, MAGREB-MASHREK, COWEB and COEST
  • September 2004 - September 2006: Senior Advisor, European Financial Institutions Directorate, Ministry of Economy and Finance.
    • European's financial relations with ACP countries;
    • Spanish representative in the EDF Committee and in the Cotonou Investment Facility Committee;
