What types of positions are offered by the EIB?

The Bank offers employment contracts which may be of temporary or indefinite duration, depending on the nature of the post.

We organise preliminary campaigns, the purpose of which is to identify highly motivated and qualified candidates for future opportunities.

It offers a Graduate Recruitment and Development programme (GRAD) aiming at offering young graduates the possibility to have a first work experience in a dynamic multicultural environment working alongside experienced professionals.

In addition, it offers Internships for graduates with less than one year of professional experience and summer jobs for students aged between 17 and 25. Further information on how to apply is provided in the relevant pages of this website.

The Bank also uses the services of local interim employment agencies.

Freelance contracts are also solicited by some areas of the Bank, such as the Translation Service (particularly English, French and German), through calls for tender. Public calls for tender are published in the supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union and on the EIB website.
