Notice on the processing of personal data

Personal data submitted are processed in accordance with Regulation (EC) 45/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data. The legal basis for this treatment is article 11 paragraph 7 of EIB Statutes, art. 23 of EIB's Rules of procedure and articles 13-20 of EIB's Staff Regulations. These personal data are required to manage your job application in order to compile a shortlist for an interview and possible recruitment. They are processed by the Recruitment Division's staff under the supervision of the data processing controller and are used only for the EIB's selection purposes in accordance with the provisions applicable to recruitment at the EIB. These data will be retained by the EIB for a maximum period of 5 years as from the date of your application. You are entitled to access, rectify and block these data. You may exercise these rights by contacting the data processing controller at the following address: HRpersonaldata@eib.org. You are also entitled to contact the European Data Protection Supervisor (www.edps.europa.eu) at any time.
