The EIB does not have a unitary board structure. The Bank has a unique board system with three governing bodies which form a two-tier (Management Committee and Board of Directors) or three-tier (including the Board of Governors) board system.
Members of the Board of Governors, Board of Directors and Audit Committee are all independent and non-executive. Members of the Management Committee are executive members.
